Great Bear Rainforest

The rare and elusive Kermode Bear lives on the remote islands of B.C.’s midcoast. This lush coastal environment is a superb habitat for grizzly bears, salmon and wolves. We will explore this old growth forest by yacht, zodiac and on foot. We will also have a cultural experience in the beautiful GitGat community of Hartley Bay where we will  have a homestay with a great local Chef.

This is a relaxed paced trip for individuals of any age. You will have the opportunity to photograph one of the rarest bears in the world while we live aboard the beautiful Ocean Light 11 in delicious comfort. Group size 8. Trip begins in Prince Rupert B.C
